The Business will be as follows:
First Sitting Day—Committee and remaining stages of the Prolongation of Parliament Bill, Local Elections Bill and the India and Burma (Temporary and Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill.
Second Sitting Day—Second Reading of the Welsh Courts Bill and Committee stage of the necessary Money Resolution; Debate on the Prayer which has been tabled relating to the Defence (Amalgamation of Police Forces) Regulations.
Third Sitting Day—Committee and remaining stages of the Welsh Courts Bill; Motion to approve the Fish Sales (Charges) (No. 2) Order.
May I ask my right hon. and learned Friend, in view of the statement by the Minister of Production about the 80 days, whether he would not consider having an early statement; and does he not realise that the country demands an answer from the Government on this matter?
Will the right hon. and learned Gentleman remember that when he puts down a programme of Business like this, he must not be too severe on the House if hon. Members do not turn up?
