Is the right hon. Gentleman aware that the widow of one of the constables has, under Irish law, brought an action against the innocent county of Tyrone claiming £5,000 indemnity, whereas it is well known that the assassins came from over the border and after having committed their foul deed returned over the border to Eire? Is it fair that this burden should fall upon Northern Ireland?
