The following Question stood upon the Order Paper in the name of Mr. BARTLETT:

21. To ask the Secretary of State for War whether he has now decided to open the canteens of the Young Women's Christian Association, and similar organisations, to members of the Women's Land Army?

May I have an answer to Question No. 21?

Question No. 21 has been transferred to the Ministry of Agriculture.

On a point of Order. I put a Question the other day to the Minister of Agriculture, and it became apparent from his reply that it was the Secretary of State for War to whom the Question should have been put. I now put it down to the Secretary of State for War, and I am told that it has been transferred to the Minister of Agriculture.

I understood that the Question was postponed.

If the right hon. Gentleman is able to answer the Question now, may he not answer it?

I have not looked into the Question, as I understood that it was transferred to another Department.

Was it transferred by the Clerks at the Table or by the War Office? Does not the right hon. Gentleman know anything about it?
