asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food the names of the firms who, in response to the Ministry's request, returned honey to the association, together with the weight of the honey so returned by retail firms, giving the amount returned by each individual firm where the weight exceeded one cwt.?

I am informed that no honey has been returned to the Honey Importers' and Packers' Association following the advice recently given by my Department as to the disposal of stocks by retailers having no sugar registrations.

Is my hon. Friend aware that one Glasgow warehouse had at the time approximately two tons of honey with 200 sugar registrations, and will he inquire what became of it, whether it was used in bakeries or whether it was given away?
