asked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that Private G. Cole, who has served more than 10 years abroad in the Army, never serving within 50 miles of his home, has been posted to the depot for foreign service again; and, as his mother is now in a mental home, whether this man can remain in England?

Private Cole was removed from an overseas draft a month ago on compassionate grounds, and the question whether he shall remain in this country is now being considered.
