Resolution reported: That for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to amend the Pensions (Navy, Army, Air Force and Mercantile Marine) Act, 1939, as respects mariners and other seafaring persons, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of any increase in the sums payable out of such moneys under schemes made by virtue of the said Act of 1939 which is attributable to the provisions of the said Act of the present Session extending the scope of such schemes.
