asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food what steps he has taken to ensure that there will not be a rush on the part of the public to buy up white flour before it ceases to be manufactured?

The Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food (Major Lloyd George):

Restrictions were imposed on 18th February which are still in force and prevent flour millers and importers from delivering to retailers more than their average January deliveries of flour other than national wheatmeal.
