asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, in view of the confusion which exists at the present time in the minds of a number of workpeople throughout the country regarding Income Tax and overtime, he will take steps to arrange for meetings of workpeople to be addressed by representatives of his Department or to institute some other form of publicity to explain this question?
Steps have already been taken, by way of broadcasts, posters and pamphlets. It is dealt with prominently in the "Income Tax Quiz for Wage Earners," which was published last month. I have also in mind the various means of publicity for this purpose, and I note my hon. Friend's suggestion.
