asked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether any review of officers engaged in administrative duties at the War Office, commands and areas is to be undertaken with a view to releasing fit and capable officers for duty with the field Forces?

The principle that work which can be efficiently performed by officers in the lower medical categories should as far as possible be given to such officers, in order to release other fitter men for more active duties, is fully accepted and continuously applied.
