Mr. Rostron Duckworth:

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food his intentions regarding the rations of onions in the Winter of 1942–43; and whether in his Dig for Victory Campaign he is concentrating on the need for growing these vegetables in small private gardens?

Major Lloyd George:

The method of distribution will depend upon the supply of onions likely to be available, and it is not yet possible to estimate this. The last part of the Question should be addressed to my right hon. Friend the Minister of Agriculture.
