Mr. Rostron Duckworth:

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food how long the existing supply of tinned fruit will last on the current ration basis?

Major Lloyd George:

All stocks of canned fruit have been released, and no further releases can be made. I am unable to say how long supplies will be available in the shops, since this depends on the number of points which consumers are prepared to use for the purchase of canned fruit.
