As my hon. Friend is aware, there are powers to deal with certain classes of British subjects now in the United States, who were resident in this country at the beginning of the war, to whom I referred in my answer of 22nd January, as well as those who passed through this country on their way to the United States from other countries. I have also under consideration the possibility of taking further powers to prevent abuses.
