Inquiries have been made, but it has not been possible to trace the cases to which my hon. Friend refers. If my hon. Friend will provide me with additional information which will enable me to identify the persons concerned, I will institute further inquiries.

asked the Minister of Labour whether he is aware that Thomas Rodger, 22, Burnbrae, Twechar, was directed from Corby to resume work as a miner at Eastshore Colliery; that he had to vacate his company-owned house at Corby; that he was promised a house from the colliery company with whom he is now employed, but was refused it after his furnishings were on the way; that his wife and five children are now accommodated in the poor house; and whether he will take steps to overcome this and similar difficulties?
