asked the Parliamentary to the Ministry of Food whether he can give any information in connection with the charge made against a firm of butchers at Southampton, on Saturday, 1st November.

Major Lloyd George:

My hon. Friend is probably referring to the case against A. Gough, Limited, of Southampton. This firm and two other defendants were committed on 1st November at Southampton for trial at the Hampshire Assizes. As the case is sub judice no comment can, of course, be made.
