asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of War Transport why, in view of the necessity for national economy, two traffic direction posts were placed at the intersection of Harefield Road and Park Road, Bucks, a junction which has been free from accidents; and why were two posts erected where one only would have been sufficient?

Will my right hon. and gallant Friend consider removing the thousands of direction posts which serve no useful purpose and arc a menace to pedestrians?
