Since the outbreak of war, 141 officers and airmen have been invalided from the Royal Air Force on account of defective hearing. No women serving with the Royal Air Force have been invalided for this cause.

Are arrangements being made to transfer these men to places where they can obtain useful training for employment, such as the National Institute for the Deaf?
