Full guidance has been given to local authorities regarding the clearance of debris from bombed sites, and they may claim reimbursement for reasonable expenditure incurred. Steps for the recovery of goods and materials are taken by the owner or by the Department having a direct interest, and local authorities have been asked to assist where necessary.
