asked the Postmaster-General whether he can give any information in connection with the robbery at the Plashet Road sub-post office, Forest Gate, during the week end?

Mr. Chapman:

The office was burgled during last week end and the safe forced. The total loss is nearly £1,000, but a considerable part of this is in a form not readily negotiable. The police have the matter in hand.
