Oral Answers to Questions — Food Supplies. – in the House of Commons on 29th May 1941.
asked the Prime Minister whether he has considered the resolution from the Fife Area Council of the Scottish Old Age Pensioners Association, forwarded to him by the hon. Member for West Fife, concerning the administration of food supplies; and whether he proposes to take any action in the matter?
The Answer to the first part of the Question is "Yes" and to the second part"No"
Is the Prime Minister aware that the demand of these old age pensioners for the removal of Lord Woolton has the support of very many organisations throughout Scotland, and, I believe, throughout the country as a whole?
I do not think it is so, but if it were so, it would be a very ill-advised and unjustifiable demand.
