(1) Where there has been made by the appropriate Ministry a loan under section three of the Essential Buildings and Plant (Repair of War Damage) Act, (Northern Ireland), 1939, for the purpose of repairing or replacing any-plant used for the purposes of an undertaking; so much of any payment under Part I of this Act as consist of the proper cost of works executed for that purpose or so much of any payment under the business scheme operated under Part II of this Act, or of any payment that the Board of Trade have decided to make under section fifty of this Act, as is referable to that plant, as the case may be, may, notwithstanding anything in section ten of this Act or in any policy of insurance issued in pursuance of the said scheme, be paid to the appropriate Ministry which shall credit the appropriate amount to the person carrying on the undertaking in his account with the said Ministry.
  2. (2) In this section the expression "the appropriate Ministry" has the same meaning as it has for the purposes of the Essential Buildings and Plant (Repair of War Damage) Act (Northern Ireland), 1939.—[Sir K. Wood.]
