asked the Secretary of State for Air whether he has any statement to make with reference to the arrival in this country of Czech, Polish, Norwegian, Dutch, Belgian and French Air Force units, and the services they are in a position to render to the Allied cause?

Captain Balfour:

Yes, Sir. I welcome the presence in this country of personnel of the Air Forces of the countries referred to by the hon. Member. Arrangements are being made to enable them to continue the gallant and effective service which they have already rendered to the Allied cause.

Can my hon. and gallant Friend say whether they will remain as isolated national units or will be incorporated in our Forces?

Captain Balfour:

That is a different and a wider question, and I should like to see it on the Paper.
