The attention of Commanding Officers at Royal Air Force stations has recently been drawn to the desirability of utilising all available land at aerodromes for food production; and they have been advised to consult the statutory Allotment Authority or the County War Agricultural Executive Committee, as the case may be. There are standing instructions regarding the letting for agricultural purposes of surplus land at Royal Air Force stations.
