Alert me about debates like this

Mr. Duncan:

asked the Prime Minister whether, without prejudice to the ultimate peace settlement, he will state now, that those parts of Poland, ethnographically Polish, from which Poles are being cruelly removed, will be as effectively repopulated by those Poles who wish to return to their homes when the war is won?

It has already been stated on behalf of His Majesty's Government that one of the objects for which we are fighting is to vindicate the right of the Polish people to independent national existence, and to right the wrongs which have been done to them. I cannot make any more explicit statement at present.

Mr. Duncan:

Will my right hon. Friend see that that statement gets the utmost publicity in Germany, in view of the fact that it was reported in the Press that 100,000 families are about to be imported into Poland from Baden and Wurtemburg?

I will certainly do my best to meet my hon. Friend's wishes.
