The postage rates on parcels for officers and men serving overseas were substantially reduced in October last. The present charges compare favourably with those which were in force in the last war, and are appreciably lower than those on parcels for civil addresses in the same countries. My right hon. Friend regrets that he cannot see his way to make a further reduction.
