Mr. Vyvyan Adams:
asked the Secretary of State for War what arrangements have been made to provide field and base hospitals in France to deal with casualties sustained by the British Expeditionary Force?
Hon. Oliver Stanley
, Westmorland
Full provision has been made. My hon. Friend will, I hope, agree that it would not be desirable to give details.
Secretary of State was originally the title given to the two officials who conducted the Royal Correspondence under Elizabeth I. Now it is the title held by some of the more important Government Ministers, for example the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
