Authoritative information, including specific refutations of false statements emanating from German sources, is telegraphed daily to the Press attaches to His Majesty's Missions abroad for communication to the local Press. Further, where important misstatements appear in newspapers of neutral countries, the attention of the London correspondents of these papers is drawn to them. If the hon. Member has in mind an article which appeared in the Danish newspaper "Berlingske Tidende" on 15th October, he will no doubt have seen the explanation by the editor of that paper published in the "Times" of 1st November.
