asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is satisfied that the greatest possible consideration is being shown to the cotton trade with regard to export licences and the avoidance of unnecessary war-time control over the industry?
Yes, Sir. My hon. Friend will realise that export licences are not required for cotton piece-goods, and only for a limited number of destinations in the case of yarns.
