Resolution reported, That, for the purpose of any Act of the present Session to impose penalties for trading with the enemy, to make provision as respects the property of the enemy and enemy subjects, and for purposes connected with the matters aforesaid, it is expedient to authorise—

  1. (a) the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of any expenses incurred for the purposes of the said Act by the Board of Trade, and
  2. (b) the payment into the Exchequer of any fees received by any custodian of enemy property appointed under the said Act and of any commission retained by a clearing office by virtue of the said Act."
