asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will now state what consideration in the matter of either bounties or allowances will be given for established and temporary civil servants, respectively, who are called up for training under the Military Training Act?

Civil servants called up for training under the Military Training Act will reckon the period of absence for the purposes of increment and pension but, as has already been announced, there will be no issue of civil pay in respect of this period.
