Mr. Edwards:

asked the Prime Minister whether he is now in a position to give any information regarding the collision between a German tank and a British motor car driven by a British tourist; and what action has been taken against the tourist?

The account which appeared in the Press seems to have been based on an unsubstantiated report which I have been unable to confirm.

Mr. Edwards:

Is the right hon. Gentleman aware that according to a report this German tank was demolished and the British motor car was slightly damaged; and has he any means of estimating the number of plywood tanks in Germany and the number of papier maché aeroplanes that have been manufactured in Germany?

I regret that I have not.
