asked the Home Secretary whether he is aware that the Lancashire branch of the council for the Preservation of Rural England has recently passed a resolution in favour of effective legislation to enable local authorities to protect their districts from offence to local amenities caused by disfiguring advertisements; and whether he can hold out any hope for the introduction of such legislation?
