My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Home Department, as the Minister responsible for air-raid precautions, is in close touch with me and with representatives of authorities and undertakings concerned in regard to air-raid precautions to safeguard communications.
Can the right hon. Gentleman say when it is proposed to issue a statement on this matter?
I would much rather get on with the work.
Does the right hon. Gentleman appreciate that local authorities would like to get on with the work, but are unable to do so until statements are issued?
