asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he is yet in a position to give the House any information as to the disarming of the Arabs in Palestine or as to how far the Jews are now armed; and whether this is a matter left to the High Commissioner to decide?

As regards the first part of the question, I am not in a position to add anything to the reply which I gave to the right hon. and gallant Member on 3rd November. As regards the second part of the question, this is a matter for decision by His Majesty's Government in consultation with the High Commissioner.
