asked the Minister of Labour how many juvenile unemployment instruction centres are now in operation; how many of these are housed in schools specially built for this purpose and how many in other kinds of premises?

During the week ended 19th February, the latest date for which statistics are available, 233 junior instruction centres and classes were in operation. Two junior instruc- tion centres are housed in buildings specially erected for the purpose, and the remainder in buildings previously existing. A number of proposals for the erection of new buildings are at present under consideration.
