asked the President of the Board of Education which of the British Dominions the system of education in the public schools does not provide for religious instruction?

Mr. STANLEY:

The information available on this subject is not easily summarised within the limits of a Parliamentary Question and Answer, and I am therefore sending the hon. Member a note containing such particulars as I have been able to collect.

The information which I have as to the education and the morals of New Zealand will be found in the letter.
