The numbers of deaths resulting from flying accidents in the Royal Air Force during the 10 months ended 1st November in 1934 and 1935 were 28 and 37 respectively. The latter figure includes nine deaths in one accident to a flying boat. The hon. Member will appreciate that the hours flown in 1935 have been appreciably higher than in 1934.
