asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether he has considered the representations from the Flintshire County Council and certain of the minor local authorities in the county of Flint, urging that the Income Tax offices at Mold should not be removed out of the county; and whether, having regard to these representations and the general opposition locally to the proposal, he will now come to a definite decision to continue the present arrangements, which have given general satisfaction in the district?

The proposal to remove the income tax office at Mold is still under consideration in the light of the representations that have been made. It is not in any case proposed to make an immediate change in the existing arrangements.
