Between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. traffic is permitted to proceed in both directions over the temporary bridge, and during the remaining hours of the day, when general traffic is allowed to proceed only from north to south, there is an omnibus service from south to north. These arrangements, which are made under requirements of the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, are, I understand, likely to be regarded as necessary until the new Waterloo Bridge is opened to traffic, but the position will be reviewed from time to time.
