asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware of the continued loss of employment in the monumental marble industry through the continued importation of manufactured marble from Italy; and whether, as a decision on a recommendation from the Import Duties Advisory Committee regarding marble and marble products was deferred from last July while discussions on commercial matters were taking place with the Italian Government, he will now state what steps he is proposing to take in the matter.
