asked the Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs whether he is aware that trade catalogues and show-cards sent by manufacturers from this country to the Commonwealth of Australia have to bear heavy taxation; and what action he proposes to take with a view to removing this barrier to the mutual trade relations between the two countries?
Secretary of State was originally the title given to the two officials who conducted the Royal Correspondence under Elizabeth I. Now it is the title held by some of the more important Government Ministers, for example the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
