asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he is aware that the Argentine Ministry recently cancelled the identity cards of two men born in the Falkland Islands and issued to them new documents describing them as Argentine citizens; and whether, in view of the facts as they are, he will suggest to the Argentine Government the undesirability of such a practice?

Secretary of State

Secretary of State was originally the title given to the two officials who conducted the Royal Correspondence under Elizabeth I. Now it is the title held by some of the more important Government Ministers, for example the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
