4.asked the Secretary of State for India whether he has yet received any expression of the views of the Government of Madras on the subject of the proposed cession of Tangasseri to Travancore; and whether he will instruct the Government in India to consult the Madras Government as to whether a plebiscite can be taken to ascertain the views of Tangasseri residents in regard to the proposed cession?
