asked the First Lord of the Admiralty what are the total fuel reserves available in the United Kingdom for the use of the Royal Navy in an emergency; and will he consider the advisability of increasing these reserves?

Sir B. EYRES MONSELL:

It is not in the public interest to disclose what reserves of oil fuel are held for the Royal Navy. It is a matter which the Admiralty has under constant review.
