Oral Answers to Questions — Trade and Commerce. – in the House of Commons at on 14 December 1933.
asked the President of the Board of Trade if he can now make any further statement with regard to the surtax imposed on British goods entering France?
I have at present nothing to add to the reply given by my right hon. Friend to the hon. Member for the Moseley Division (Mr. Hannon) on the 12th December.
Will the hon. and gallant Member be able to make a statement before the House rises?
I cannot undertake to do that, but my right hon. Friend hopes to be able to make a statement very shortly.
