The organising committees in this country and in Finland are anxious to assist members of the cotton textile industry, in common with those of any other industry, to get into direct touch with agents or shopkeepers in Finland who are supporting the British shopping week. The Department of Overseas Trade will supply on request a list of names of appropriate Finnish firms and render all possible advice and assistance. It is not possible to state in advance what detailed arrangements will be in force for other shopping weeks which may be held in future, but the interests of the textile industry will certainly be borne in mind.
