asked the Minister of Health whether he is aware that, owing to the service of dangerous structure notices on certain cottages in Horseshoe Alley, Westminster, some of the tenants are liable to be evicted, and all of them are being pressed to leave by the owner's agent; that the tenants have occupied these houses for periods of 60 to 20 years, and that no alternative accommodation is being offered to them; and whether he can take steps to ensure that the city council shall exercise its powers under the Housing Acts to provide the accommodation necessary?
