asked the President of the Board of Trade whether his attention has been called to the quantities of foreign cement imported into this country during the past six weeks; and, seeing that this abnormal import has brought to a standstill the cement factories on the Medway, with resulting loss of employment to a number of people, whether he will take steps to protect this industry?
