asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether he will consider amending the Medicine Stamp Acts with the object of rendering all medicines protected by registered names or trade marks liable to duty, even if they be of a known, admitted, or proved nature?


My hon. Friend's suggestion has been noted, but he will not expect me to anticipate the next Budget statement.
