asked the President of the Board of Trade the imports of general earthenware, sanitary ware, glazed wall and hearth tiles, and floor tiles into this country for the month of November, 1931, to the last available date; and if he will give the corresponding weights of imports of chinaware now subject to Import (Safeguarding) Duties?

My right hon. Friend will circulate in the OFFICIAL REPORT in the course of this week a statement giving the latest available information as to importations covered by the Order made on the 20th November. As my hon. Friend Will be aware, the Order covers general earthenware, sanitary ware and glazed wall and hearth tiles. No similar information is available in regard to the dutiable imports of chinaware.
