The only definite information available relates to April, 1921, when it was ascertained that the capacity of flour mills in Great Britain and Ireland was 6,164 sacks per hour. Since that time flour mills with an aggregate capacity of 891 sacks per hour are known to have been closed, but no information is available regarding any possible changes in the capacity of other mills.
